<br/>Maternal and Child Health Care (MCHC) is an essential and integral component in the global health care system that covers health of women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period and health of the new-born baby, infancy and childhood. Developments and emphasis on promoting MCHC both at national and international level have implications for reduction of maternal mortality and infant mortality and for healthier future generation.
