This book is an initiative of the Loyola alumni UAE chapter: Let us walk through the corridors of time, exploring a century's worth of memories, anecdotes, poems, photographs, and more, shared by Loyola's alumni and meticulously curated into a book.
These memoirs were born from one man's dream, Dr. Surender Singh Kandhari, to honour his college. Supported by a dedicated team of Jesuits, teaching staff, alumni and alumni chapters' world-wide, who took up the project on a war footing, their collective efforts transformed this dream into a tangible reality.
From every part of the globe, the young and young at heart have written in-businessmen, professors, doctors, judges, priests, sportsmen, and ex-servicemen, each with a story to share, cherishing the friendships formed, values instilled, and, in short, the profound impact Loyola College has had on shaping their lives and their destinies.
Hopefully, this compilation will serve to inspire the present and future Loyolites to live up to their motto, "Let your light shine!" and continue making a difference to the world
