History of Modern India deals primarily with British conquest of India, British policies and system as well as structure of administration, and reactions of different socio-politico groups as well as individuals to those policies and system. It is about India's varied forms of struggle for Independence and making of an equitable participatory constitutional system for New India. Modern India is also about Makers of Modern India.
Sanjay Nath Jha is a UPPCS Officer of 1998 batch and is presently working as RTO (Regional Transport Officer) at Transport Commissioner Office, Lucknow. He has done B.A. (Honours) in History from Kirori Mal College, Delhi. He was awarded “Best Trainee” by Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration, Nainital (then in UP) during his foundation course.
He has earned many laurels for Transport Department, Uttar Pradesh at National Level. At private level, he has been guiding many aspirants of Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC and State PSCs.
